NORFOLK - Mrs. Mittie Truman of 811 Park Ave. died Friday in a Charlottesville 
hospital.

A native of Goldsboro, N.C., she was a daughter of Bill and Mrs. Mandy Coley and 
the widow of John Truman.

She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and its Female Usher Board, 
Missionary Circle, and Floral Club.

She was a member of Evening Star Lodge 2, Elks Lodge, and Buffaloes.

She is survived by a son, John H. Lofton of Norfolk, eight grandchildren, and 42 
great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church 
by the Rev. F.W. Wise. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. graves Funeral Home 
has charge.

The family will assemble at 1817 Canton Ave.
