A native of Odessa, Russia, he lived in this area 45 years. He was a member of Temple Israel, Golden Age Club, Willie Lee Lodge 119, Knights of Pythias, B'rith Sholom Temple, South Norfolk Moose Lodge 464 and J Jewish Community Center. He was a director of the Hebrew Academy. He was first appointed to the housing authority Aug. 10, 1950, for one-year term term, then was reappointed for four years. In August 1955 he was renamed for a se second and final four years. Surviving are two sons, B. W. Tucker and Milton Tucker, and a daughter, Mrs. R Ruth Friedman, all of Norfolk. A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts by Rabbi Joseph Goldman of Temple Israel. Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
