Virginian Pilot May 29, 1994

Adell McGruder Tucker of the 700 block of W. 29th St., died May 25, 1994, in 
DePaul Medical Center.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Jacksonville, Fla. She was a cook at the naval base 
and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Amelia Terry of Norfolk; three sons, Antron 
Tucker of Fort Lee, Va., Antonio Tucker of Norfolk and Derrick Tucker of 
Jarrett, Va.; her mother, Arrie Mae Owens of Norfolk; a stepfather, James 
Holloway of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Rossie V. Holloway of Erie, Pa., 
and Leonard Holloway of Craigsville, Va.; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Carlos A. Howard Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Frank Guns. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family 
will assemble at 721 W. 29th St., Norfolk, at noon for the processional. The 
remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Monday.
