Mrs. Judie Tucker departed this life Tuesday, January 3rd, 1922 at the residence
of her daughter and son-in-law, 837 Johnson Ave., after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Seaboard, NC, but lived in this city thirteen years. The
funeral was held at the First Calvary Baptist Church, of which she was a member
for twelve years, Friday, January 6th. Rev. P. J. Wallace, D.D., officiated,
assisted by Rev. A. Hobbs. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Willie Allen and Miss
Katie Tucker and a host of relatives and friends.
