Turner, 62, widow of Travis T. Turner, Sr., and daughter of the late James and Mrs. Laura Bryan Rideout, died yesterday at 11 a.m. at the residence, 425 Warren Crescent, after a long illness. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Church and a teacher in the Sunday school for many years. She was a native of New Bern, N.C., and had lived in Norfolk 50 years. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Vivien T. Britton and Mrs. Margaret T. Smith; one son, Travis T. Turner, Jr., and two granddaughters, Beverley Bryan Britton and Karen Bryan Smith. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Selden Chapel, Christ and St. Luke's Church for services tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Taylor Willis D.D., rector. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
