Mrs. Carrie Turner - Funeral services for Mrs. Turner, 752 Smith street, who passed at a local hospital May 28, were held June 1 from Mount Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. F. P. Wise officiating.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  She is survived by two sons and daughters. Norfolk Journal and Guide,Jun 21,1947
