The Virginian Pilot Thursday August 4, 1960
Miss Esther May Turner, daughter of the late Smith B. and Mrs. Esther Davis 
Turner, died in a Norfolk hospital Wednesday at 2 p.m.
She is survived by a brother, Alfred E. Turner of Los Angeles; two nieces, 
Mrs. Esther S. Hadlock of Hampton and Mrs. Muriel S. Burnett of Suffolk and 
a nephew, Palmer L. Smith of Norfolk.
Miss Turner, a native of Norfolk, resided at 60 College Pl. Hampton.  She 
was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church.
A private funeral service will be conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Saturday.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
