Turner, aged 85, died last night at 7:40 o'clock after a long illness. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Esther May Turner and Mrs. J.W. Smith, both of Norfolk; a son, A.E. Turner, of Lynchburg; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Turner was a native of Philadelphia, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 60 years. He was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, Atlantic Lodge 2, A.F. & A.M., Norfolk United Royal Arch Chapter, 1, Grice Commandery 16, K.T., and Harmony Lodge, I.O.O.F. Funeral services and burial will be private.
