NORFOLK - Mrs. Viliear Turner, 51, of 953 Ave. F, Widow of James Turner, died 
Sunday in a hospital.

Born in Brunswick County, she lived in Norfolk more than 45 years. She was a 
daughter of James and Mrs. Mamie Andrews.

She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and its No. 1 Choir, president 
of Widows Club, past matron of Blooming Light Chapter 111 of Eastern Star and 
past senior matron and secretary of Evangeline Tent 573.

Surviving are a son, James Andrews, and a daughter, Mrs. Doris Branch, both of 
New York, and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Gilead Baptist 
Church by the Rev. John R. Gray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Price 
Funeral Home in charge.
