NORFOLK - Johnson Turner of 770 ½ Fremont St., the husband of Mrs. Virginia
Turner, died Wednesday in a hospital.

A native of Boykins, he was a member of C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in
Christ.

Besides his widow, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Toni Smith and Mrs.
Mable Dunkey of Yonkers, NY, Mrs. Lena Parker of the Bronx, NY, and Mrs.
Jeanette Williams of Norfolk;  and three sons, Jasper Turner of Boykins, Luther
Turner and James Turner of Yonkers.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon in C. H. Mason Memorial Church
by the Rev. David B. Williams.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves
Funeral Home in charge.
