Norfolk - Mrs. Jessie Mary Turner of 12 Clay avenue, died in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of Jesse and Mrs. Scott and the wife
of Lawrence Turner.

She was a deacon assistant, a member of the Mothers Board, the Ladies’ Usher
Board and the Missionary Circle of the C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in
Christ.

Besides her husband she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lorraine Hargraves of
Norfolk;  and two nieces and two nephews.

Services were held in C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ by the Rev.
David D. Williams.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Riddick Funeral Service was
in charge.
