Turner Sr., 75, of 1855 Edgewood Ave., a native of Portsmouth, died Thursday in a hospital. Mr. Turner had retired as a planner and estimator at Norfolk Naval Air Station after 35 years. He was a member of Ocean View Masonic Lodge 335 and Scottish Rite Bodies. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Lane Turner; two daughters, Joyce T. Moore and Ellen T. Joynes, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles E. Turner Jr., of Fairfax; a sister, Pat Harris of Portsmouth; a brother, Bernard Turner of Christiansburg, Va.; and seven grandchildren. The graveside service with Masonic rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Russell Myers. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today..
