Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Aug 14,1965
Norfolk - A funeral service was held today at 1 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist
Church by the Rev. F. D. Wise for Walter Turner of 1916 Pioneer avenue. 
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.

The Norfolkian was a son of Charlie and Mrs. Carrie Turner.  He worked for
Trailways Bus Company.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Telfair and Mrs. Mattie Reid of
Norfolk, and two brothers, Charlie Turner and Dr. Arthur Turner of Newport News.
