The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Camp Turner, relict of the late colonel Henry L. 
Turner was held privately from her residence in the Monitor apartments, at ten 
o’clock a.m. yesterday. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes in 
attestation of the high esteem in which the deceased was held in the community. 
The service was conducted by Rev. James M. Owens of St. Paul’s Episcopal 
Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: 
Garrett Watters, James Watters, Turner M. Johnson, Robert Martin, Jordan Pugh, 
Watters Martin, J.W. Martin, Jr. and William Martin, Jr.
