Turner and a daughter of the late Jacob and Mrs. Melinda Shauck Gettel, died in Portsmouth Naval Hospital Thursday at 5:55 a.m. A native of Shreevsburg, Md., she lived her most of her life. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Kempsville. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Emily W. Turner of Lynchburg; three sons, William C. Turner, Henry W. Turner, and Edward A. Turner; a stepdaughter, Mrs. T. C. Jarvis, and a sister Mrs. C. J. Eaton, all of Norfolk; a brother, Edward A. Gettel of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and five great-grand Children. The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. by Navy Chaplain William E.
