Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, August 24, 1997 
Ellzey Turner Jr., 61, of the 6300 block of Picadilly Square, died Aug. 20, 1997.

A native of Louisiana, he was a member of Assembly in Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie D. Turner; 10 daughters, Frances Sheriff,
Beverly Drain, Marie Turner, Betty Bolton, Delphine Robinson, Wanda Hodges, Ivy
Wheaton, Sherita Outlaw, Shawn Smith, Tawanda Johnson; two sons, Ernest Turner
Jr., Boby Turner; five sisters, Carolyn Crimson, Betty Martin, Martha Wells,
Shirley Elleza, Ethel Redd; five brothers, Thomas Turner, Benton Turner, John
Turner, Willie Turner, John Paul Turner; 31 grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Riddick Funeral Service by the
Rev. Robert Walker. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 1
to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the
residence.
