NORFOLK — Mrs. Maria Turrisi, 93, of 4810 Mayflower Road, the widow of Frank 
Turrisi and a native of Nicosia, Sicily, Italy, died Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. in her 
home.

She lived here for 61 years and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 
and Roma Lodge 254, Sons of Italy.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Cahoon, and a son, Charles J. Turrisi, 
both of Norfolk; and a grandson.

A Christian Wake service will be held Friday night at 7 in Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Tidewater Chapel.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
