Tuttle, died at the residence, 3500 Vimy Ridge Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 6 o'clock following an illness of six months. She was a native of Richmond, but had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years. She was a daughter of the late Custis Augustus and Mrs. Mrs. Isabel Jones Hyslop. Mrs. Tuttle was a communicant of the Episcopal Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Miss Mattie Isabell Tuttle, Norfolk and Mrs. Rupert A. March, of Raleigh, N.C.; three sons, Dennis I., Louis Drewrey and Augustus W. Tuttle, all of New York; a sister, Mrs. Asa A. Tuttle Sr., Norfolk; four grandchildren and a nephew, Asa A. Tuttle, Jr., Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover Avenue corner Manteo Street, Tuesday at 12 o'clock noon. The Rev. George P. Gunn, rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and the Rev. H.S. Hardcastle, pastor of the Rosemont Christian Church, will officiate Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
