Tuttle died suddenly yesterday morning at the residence of H.L. Mitchell, 345 Liberty street, aged 68 years. Mr. Tuttle was found dead in his room by one of the members of the family. He was a native of Camden, N.C. and had been a resident of this place 30 years. He was a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and one of the best known and esteemed citizens of Berkley. He is survived by three sons, Dennis D., Asa A. and Charles S. Tuttle, Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Annie B. Spears of Petersburg, Mrs. Mattie Marshall and Miss Susie B. Tuttle of this city. The body was taken to the residence of his son, D.D. Tuttle, Main street, where the funeral will be conducted by Rev. W.R. Flannagan, assisted by Rev. W.H. Osborne, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
