Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, February 9, 1938, at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The Virginian Pilot February 9, 1938 ********************************************* Funeral services for Mr. Twiford, whose death occurred Monday, were conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. W. Rush Loving, pastor of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. There was a large attendance and many flowers, the casket being covered with a pal of Easter lilies, pink roses and white snapdragon. Mrs. M.E. Blount, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. F.W. Nottingham, sang "Abide With Me". Pallbearers were R.H. Stanton, W.V. Smith, George N. Trower, George W. Williams, M.J. Walsh, R. Wright, W.H. Petree and C.D. Taylor Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
