Norfolk Virginian July 28, 1893

The many friends of Mrs. W.H. Twiford will regret to learn of her death, which 
occurred at her residence, corner of Chapel and Waverly Streets, last night at 6 
o'clock, after a very brief illness. Mrs. Twiford was a member of the First 
Baptist Church. She leaves a husband and three children.

The funeral of Mrs. W.H. Twiford took place yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock 
from the Cumberland Street Baptist Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. 
Mr. Chambers, in the presence of a large congregation. The interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Andrew Dusch, P.E. Smith, C.A. Morris, 
Harry Bond, E.M. Allen, W.V. Eustis, W.A. Walker, David C. Whitehurst.
