Twine of 2734 Myrtle Ave. died Sunday in a hospital. A native of Washington County, N.C., he was a son of Tim and Mrs. Sallie N. Twine and the husband of Mrs. Hattie Twine. He was retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 40 years. He was a member of Campbell Masonic Lodge 67 and Odd Fellows Lodge 1820. Surviving is a son, William Henry Twine of Roper, N.C. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. G.L. Parker. Burial will be in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
