Norfolk - Funeral services for John W. Twine, 93, of 640 Davidson street were 
held Wednesday in Metropolitan AMEZ Church. The Rev. Richard Councill officiated. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Warren Funeral Home in charge. He died May 27 
in his home.

A native of South Mills, NC, he was a member of Metropolitan AMEZ Church.

Mr. Twine is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sadie M. Morris of Washington; two 
sons, James Twine of Detroit and John Twine of Washington; and a sister, Mrs. 
Mary Wright of Brooklyn.
