Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. A native of Raleigh, NC, he was a son of the late Major Twitty and Mrs. Nannie Twitty and husband of Mrs. Eula E. Twitty. He died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a retired automobile mechanic. Other than his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louise Williams of New York and Miss Lillie Mae Twitty of Norfolk; and a brother, Rufus Twitty of Chicago.
