Mr. Twohy was a native of Plymouth, England, a recent resident of Freehold, N.J. and had been in Norfolk for only the past two months. He is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Ethel James and the Misses Lula and Margaret Twohy, of Plymouth, England and a nephew, John Twohy, II, of Norfolk. Mr. Twohy was a brother of the late Capt. John Twohy. Remains will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, No. 610-612 East Freemason Street, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, private, St. Mary's Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 5, 1938 *********************************************************** JAMES ANTHONY TWOHY — Funeral services for Mr. Twohy, whose death occurred Monday, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. E. P. Kilgalen, pastor, officiating. Present in the sanctuary were the Rev. R. B. Kealey, the Rev. F. V. Bambrick, the Rev. M. J. Harrison and the Rev. T. P. Scannell. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang "Abide With Me,” with Prof. J. Harvey Stevens, organist. There was a large attendance. The casket was covered with a double cluster of white gladiolus and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Undertaker’s assistants served as pallbearers. Services at the grave were conducted by the Rev. R. B. Kealey.
