Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, December 30, 1991 
William ``Willie'' Hugh Tyler, of the 2400 block of Cottage Ave., died Dec. 26,
1991, in his residence.

Mr. Tyler was born in Greensville County, Va., and had retired from York College
in Monterey, Calif., after 15 years. He was a member and a deacon of New Calvary
Baptist Church. He had served in the Army.

Survivors include three sisters, Ella Winslow and Mary Berry, both of Norfolk,
and O'Delia Newby of Chesapeake; and a brother, Ernest W. Tyler of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Tuesday in New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
placed in the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The family will assemble at the
residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
