Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Roland Tyler, 28, of 801 Park avenue, who was
fatally stabbed July 16, were conducted at United Baptist Church July 24 by the
Rev. Oliver Allen, pastor.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

A daughter of Ernest and the late Mrs. Pauline Roland, and a native of Raleigh,
NC, she had lived in Norfolk 26 years.

She is survived by her father;  husband, Isaac Tyler;  step-mother, Mrs. Lucy
Roland;  son, Isaac Tyler, Jr., daughter, Augustine Tyler;  and sister, Miss Ann
Roland, all of Norfolk.

Hale Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements.
