NEW YORK, N.Y. - Mrs. Mary Jarvis Tyner, of 5 Nicholas Terrace, Apt. Four, died 
Thursday in a New York hospital.

She was the wife of Christopher Tyner and a native of Williamston, N.C. She 
lived most of her life in Norfolk.

Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Miss Alcie Tyner of New York; a sister-
in-law, Mrs. Truemiller Jarvis of Norfolk; a brother, Ivory John Jarvis of 
Norfolk; and a niece, Mrs. Doris E. George of Hempstead, Long Island, New York.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Riddick Chapel, by the Rev. 
J. Jasper Freeman with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Riddick Funeral Service is in 
charge. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivory J. Jarvis, 832 
Washington Ave., Norfolk.
