A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late George and Mrs. Angeline Tynes. He was a seafood dealer more than 40 years. He was a member of Mt. Olive A.M.E.Z. Church, Chesapeake. Surviving are eight nieces and five nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m. in Mt. Olive A.M.E.Z. Church by the Rev. T.R. Spencer. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge. The family is at the home of a niece, Mrs. Ethel Alexander of 518 Spectator St., Cavalier Manor, Portsmouth.
