Ullrich, 88, of the 800 block of Neptune Ave., passed away May 16, 2007, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Wetzel and the widow of William C. Ullrich. She was a retired beauty shop owner and was a certified instructor for cosmetology and hairdressing at the Norfolk Vocational School. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic minister, member of the Sacristy and the Catholic Daughters. She was a member of the Norfolk Moose Lodge for more than 50 years, the Oblates of St. Benedict and was past president of the Norfolk Hairdressers and Cosmetology Association. She is survived by her son, William Jerry Ullrich, and a nephew, Timothy Traylor, and wife, Sue, all of Virginia Beach. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. The burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon- brown.com.
