The Virginian Pilot July 25, 1961
Daniel Andrew Underdown, 91, son of Daniel A. and Mrs. Rosalie Roland 
Underdown, died at 3:30 a.m., Monday at a Norfolk hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk lately residing with a niece, Mrs. May 
Grant, at 100 Willowwood Drive.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and was a member of Charity 
Lodge No. 10, Knights of Pythias 50 years.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, to Elmwood Cemetery 
for a funeral service Wednesday at 11 a.m.
