NORFOLK - Carl Joseph Unger, 73, of 1129 Modoc Ave., the husband of Mrs. Honoria 
Cunneff Unger, died Wednesday in a hospital.
A native of Baden, Germany, he lived here 33 years. He was a retired stone 
mason. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Besides his widow, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Matilda Bailey of 
Danville, Mrs. Alma Pascarelli of Elko, Nev., Mrs. Agnes Dozier of Norfolk, and 
Mrs. Catherine Ballenger of Richmond; and a son, Frederick Unger of Germany.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery with H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments in charge.
