Virginian Pilot January 1, 1986

Leslie B. Upchurch, 85, of 845 Marvin Ave., a native of Currituck, N.C., died 
Monday in a hospital.
Mr. Upchurch had retired as a subcontractor in painting from Jerry Moody.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce B. Rose of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and 
a great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Magnolia Cemetery by 
the Rev. Robert Neal.  The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 8 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made 
to the Tidewater Lung Association.
