Norfolk Virginian-Pilot September 5, 1937

Bernard J. Utz, aged 54 years, husband of Mrs. Mary Andrews Utz and son of Mrs. 
Lena Ulrich Utz and the late Peter J. Utz, a former resident of Norfolk, died 
Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Baltimore Md. Besides his wife and mother, he is 
survived by two sons and two daughters, two sisters and a number of nieces and 
nephews. Remains will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 
East Freemason Street, Norfolk, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services 
Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

husband of Mrs. Mary Andrews Utz and son of Mrs. Lena Ulrich Utz and the late 
Peter J. Utz, in the 55th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments. Nos. 610-612 East 
Freemason street, Norfolk, Va., to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services 
MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
