Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, September 8, 1990 
Alice May Valentine , 95, of the 1400 block of Shipp Ave., died Sept. 7, 1990,
in a nursing home.

Mrs. Valentine , a native of Surry County, was the widow of Frank Valentine Sr.
She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy M. Valencia of Virginia Beach; two sons,
Frank Valentine Jr. of Norfolk and Herman E. Valentine of Virginia Beach; and
seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Queen Street Baptist Church by
the Rev. Robert Murray. Friends may join the family at 6 p.m. Sunday in Hale
Funeral Home and other times at 3401 Archer Court, Virginia Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to the Widows Club of Queen Street Baptist Church.
