She was born in Norfolk, Va., and was the daughter of the late Sue King Ne Nestor of Norfolk, and Captain John Louis Nestor of La Jolla, Calif. She was al also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Nestor Howlett Pennock. She is su survived by her daughter, Ann Vandersyde Malbon of Virginia Beach and husband, H. H. Frank Malbon, and their children, John, Nell and Will; her son, John Nestor Va Vandersyde of Richmond and wife, Ann D. Vandersyde, and their children, Joseph, Pe Peter and Bo; cousins, Dr. Patricia King of Norfolk, Lt. Col. Constance Fe Ferebee; and many dear friends. Mrs. Vandersyde enjoyed a successful career in re residential real estate, earning her GRS, GRI, and was a member of the Ti Tidewater Board of Realtors Million Dollar Sales Club. She served on several ci civic boards, including the United Way Campaign, Norfolk Society of Arts of the Ch Chrysler Museum, The Virginia Beach Arts Center, and The Bay Colony Garden Cl Club. She was an avid golfer, and Chairman of the Ladies Golf Association at th the Princess Anne Country Club. She was passionate about the arts, spending ti time with her friends, loved fishing and a day on the beach. She was a member of of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach, and was a resident of We Westminster Canterbury. A visitation with family will take place at H. D. Ol Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, on Monday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. A A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Galilee Ep Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests th that donations be made to benefit the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
