Wrenn, daughter, Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, Friday, February 5th, 1904 at 8:45 p.m., MRS. HARRIET VAN DEVENTER, aged 85 years. She is survived by a son, Rev. Robert Van Deventer, and two daughters, Mesdames J.W. Parker and Mattie S. Wrenn. Funeral from the residence THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON, February 7th at 3 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. ******************* Mrs. Harriet Vandeventer, widow of the late Warren Vandeventer, died Friday evening at 8:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mattie S. Wrenn, in Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, after an illness of nearly a year. Mrs. Vandeventer had been a resident of Berkley for a number of years, and is survived by a son, Rev. Robert Vandeventer and two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Parker and Mrs. Mattie Wrenn. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the residence at 3 o'clock and the obsequies will be conducted by Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. P.S.C. Davis, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
