Van Deventer, a former resident of Berkley, died yesterday in Baltimore, according to a telegram received here yesterday by relatives. Mrs. Van Deventer moved to Baltimore eight years ago, after having lived in Berkley for practically all her life. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her nephew, Charles E. Rudd, 48 Poplar avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************************************** MRS. SUSAN A. VANDEVENTER Funeral services for Mrs. VanDeventer, who died in Baltimore Tuesday, were conducted at the home of her nephew, Charles E. Rudd, 46 Poplar avenue, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Beecher L. Rhodes, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, conducted the services. The flowers were in profusion and the attendance was large. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. Nephews of the deceased acted as pallbearers as follows: Charles E. Rudd, W. Stockton Rudd, Walter S. Rudd, Frank M. Rudd, William Pettitt and Edward Pettitt.
