She was a native of Norfolk, born to the late Mr. Winston and Mable Brickhouse. She was the widow of Charles Vann Sr. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah since 1993 and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Monticello Congregation. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Annette J. Carrington, Denise E. Brooks, Janet Henriquez (Bert) and Paula D. Vann; two sons, Charles Vann Jr. (Garnette) and James L. Vann; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 959 Ingleside Road, Norfolk, with Brother Anthony Person officiating. Viewing will be held Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
