Van Nostrand, who died at the family residence, No. 46 Ivey street, Friday morning at 9:45 o'clock, in the 27th year of her age, will be conducted from the residence this morning at 9:30 o'clock. Rev. T.C. Skinner, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, will officiate, after which the remains will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband, two children, a mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Tarkenton, and four brothers and one sister, all of Tyrrell County, N.C., her birthplace. Her health began to fail about eight months ago since when she has grown worse. She was well-known and liked in this community. **************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Geo. W. Van Nostrand was conducted from the family residence, No. 26 Ivy street, Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock, Rev. T.C. Skinner of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Her remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery. The services were largely attended and as a mark of the esteem and honor in which the deceased was held many beautiful wreaths were laid about her grave.
