A funeral service for Carlton Vaughn, 50, who died Sept. 8 in a Norfolk  
hospital after a long illness, was held Sunday in Antioch Baptist Church, with 
the Rev. J. W. Matthews officiating.

He lived at 312 Lombard street and was employed by Ferebee Construction Company.

He was the son of Mrs. Jacie Vaughn and the late Gran Riddick, and was a native 
of Ahoskie, NC.  Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Helen 
Tillie of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
