Ledger-Star November 27, 1922
Funeral services for Mrs. Vellines, widow of M. J. Vellines. were held at St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church this morning. Rev. P. P. Brennan, officiating. Monsignor J. 
T. O’Farrell and Rev. M. Hartigan, were present. Several selections were sung 
during the service by the choir of St. Mary’s Female Academy. There were many 
floral offerings. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. 
H. Cofer, T. B. Jackson, F. Mather, Zenas Gay, C. E. Rudolphi Jr., and S. C. 
Phillips.
