Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 26, 1922

VELLINES, MARY FANNIE - At a local hospital, Saturday, November 25, 1922, at 
1:30 o'clock a.m., MARY FANNIE VELLINES, widow of M.J. Vellines, aged 77 years.
Remains will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, No. 610-12 East 
Freemason Street, to St. Mary's Catholic Church, for services MONDAY MORNING at 
10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Kindly omit flowers.

                           Mrs. Mary Frances Vellines

Funeral services for Mrs. Vellines, widow of M.J. Vellines, were held at St. 
Mary's Catholic Church this morning, Rev. P.P. Brennan, officiating. Monsignor 
J.T O'Farrel and Rev. M. Hartigan were present. Several selections were sung 
during the service by the choir of St. Mary's Female Academy. There were many 
floral offerings. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were: 
J.H. Cofer, T.B. Jackson, F. Mather, Zenas Gay, C.E. Rudolphi Jr. and S.C. 
Phillips.
