The funeral of Mr. Marsden H. Vellines, whose death was due to scalding received
in an explosion, took place this afternoon at 3 o’clock from St. Mary’s Catholic
church.  The Lee Rifles, of which the deceased was a member, were in attendance,
as well as numerous other friends.  Rev. Father Doherty conducted the services,
and the interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
