Virginian Pilot April 17, 1968

Mrs. Katie C. Venuto, 67, of 9206 Granby St. died in a hospital Tuesday.
She was the wife of Joseph Vemuto and a daughter of Angelo and Mrs. Catherine 
Constantino.
A native of Italy, she lived here 63 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, James Joseph Venuto of Virginia 
Beach; six daughters, Mrs. John Zingroaff, Mrs. Matthew Zingroaff, Mrs. John 
Woodard and Mrs. Joseph T. Fitzpatrick of Norfolk, Mrs. Robert D. Jones of 
Chantilly and Mrs. Thomas Giefer of Minneapolis; a brother, Joseph Constantino 
of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Gentile of Brooklyn and Mrs. 
Grisaffi and Mrs. Herman Waffey of Norfolk.
The office of the dead will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 
8:15.
A funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Thursday at noon. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

VENUTO, MRS. KATIE C. – In a local hospital, Tuesday, MRS. KATIE C. VENUTO, wife 
of Joseph Venuto and daughter of the late Angelo and Mrs. Catherine Constantino, 
in the 68th year of her age. The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Norfolk, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church for funeral services THURSDAY at 
12 NOON. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
