He was a son of James and Mrs. Josephine Venuto and the husband of the late Mrs. Katie C. Venuto. A native of Messina, Italy, he lived here 62 years. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. John Zingraff, Mrs. Mathew Zingraff, Mrs. John J. Woodard and Mrs. Joseph T. Fitzpatrick of Norfolk, Mrs. Robert D. Jones of Chantilly and Mrs. Thomas S. Giefer of Burnesville, Minn., a son, James J. Venuto of Norfolk; 8 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Thursday at 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
