Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 6, 1942

Vincent Versace, aged 56, husband of Mrs. Catherine A. Veresace and son of the 
late Rocco and Mrs. Elizabeth Zamballiti Versace, died yesterday afternoon at 
3:15 o'clock. He was a native of Italy and a resident of this section for the 
past 36 years, residing at 2928 Buckingham Avenue at the time of his death. He 
was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Catherine A. Versace, he is survived by two sons, Capt. 
H.J. Versace, U.S.A. and Armand Versace, U.S.C.G.; one daughter, Miss Elizabeth 
Versace, all of Norfolk; three grandchildren; three brothers, Steven, Rocco and 
Joseph Versace and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Versace and Mrs. V. Vincent, all of 
Italy. The body will be taken to the H.D. Oliver Funereal Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, pending arrangements.

VERSACE, VINCENT – On Saturday, September 5, 1942, at 3:15 o’clock p.m., 
VINCENT, husband of Mrs. Catherine C. Versace and son of the late Rocco and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Zambilliti Versace, in the 57th year of his age. Funeral services at 
St. Mary’s Catholic Church TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
