Virginian-Pilot September 27, 1976
NORFOLK - Robert Adrian Versprille, 48, of 6100 Monroe Place, died Saturday in a 
Fredericksburg hospital.
A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Reba Richmond Versprille and a 
son of Jacob Versprille.
He was employed by the Rappahanock Area Agency for the Aging and had formerly 
been with the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society in Norfolk.
Other survivors include two sons, Robert A. Versprille Jr. and John P. 
Versprille of Norfolk; and five brothers, Jacob Versprille Jr., Patrick J. 
Versprille, and Edward Versprille of Norfolk, Thomas J. Versprille of Pequa, 
Pa., and George H. Versprille of Virginia Beach.
A Christian Wake will be held today at 7 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 
Norfolk. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
