He was the son of the (late) Augustus and Mrs. Antoinette Verstynen. A native of Holland, he had lived in Norfolk for 40 years, residing at 514 W. 37th St., at the home. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Harry A. Verstynen; two daughters, Mrs. Tully F. Morrissette and Miss Joan Marie Verstynen, one brother, Peter C. Verstynen, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss Marie Verstynen and Sister M. Columbina (Verstynen) both of Holland and four grandchildren. He owned White House Bakery. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
