Harvey Vickers, husband of Mrs. Margie Vickers, died August 23 at home after a 
brief illness.  A native of Durham, NC.  Mr. Vickers had resided in Norfolk 
most of his life.

A the time of his death he was employed by a fish establishment in Portsmouth.  
Mr. Vickers had been a member of First Baptist Church, Norfolk, a number of 
years.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 26, at Riddick Funeral Chapel with the 
Rev. E. Paul Simms officiating.

Mr. Vickers is survived by his wife, three sisters, and several other 
relatives.
